Dr. David W. Gerhart is a native of the Philadelphia area.
He graduated from Lock Haven University in 1988 receiving his degree in
sports medicine. While at Lock Haven University, Dr. Gerhart graduated
first in his major while being honored as a Scholastic All-American and
receiving the Microbiometics Scholarship from the Eastern Athletics Trainers
Association and the Del Humphrey Post Graduate Award from the National
Athletic Trainers Association recognizing him as one of the top student
trainers in the country.
Dr Gerhart later received his Doctorate degree from Palmer
College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa graduating with honors and being
honored with membership into Pi Tau Delta, a honor fraternity honoring
excellence in chiropractic study. Also at Palmer, he undertook
additional training in the fields of radiology, adjunctive therapy, and
extremity adjusting. Long interested in the field of athletic and
sports injuries, Dr. Gerhart has completed additional training in the field
of sports medicine.
Dr. Gerhart has been serving the Harrisburg area for over 10
years with excellent results using only the most up to date and scientific
methods of care. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic
Association.
